Another week, another great save for Portland Timbers goalkeeper Andrew Weber. In a match that saw a cominbed 41 shots between the Timbers and Seattle Sounders this past Saturday, Weber was busy throughout.
In the 39th minute, Sounders defender Chad Marshall found himself upfield after a free kick, leapt high, and headed down to the low opposite corner a shot that looked destined for glory. However, Weber sprang to full extension to his left to palm away the shot.
Other nominees include RSL's Jeff Attinella, Dallas' Chris Seitz, Houston's Tally Hall and Philadelphia's Zac MacMath. Voting runs until this Thursday night at 11:59pm PT. Click here for complete MLSsoccer.com Save of the Week coverage.
