There were an abundance of great strikes in Week 10 of the Major League Soccer season – now it’s time to pick your favorite.
Five big names will battle it out for MLS Goal of the Week, with Designated Players, a former No. 1 overall SuperDraft pick and a star returning from injury all in the running for the Round 10 honors. Our pick is our very own Diego Valeri's curling strike against the Montreal Impact
Filling out the field are a pair of strikers from two of the league’s top teams, with FC Dallas forward Blas Perez nominated for his equalizer in FCD’s 2-1 win against LA and Red Bulls’ DP Bradley Wright-Phillips up for his history-making opener in his team’s victory against crosstown rival New York City FC.
Clint Dempsey had a goal in the Sounders’ 3-2 loss at Columbus nominated while Darren Mattocks in consideration for his strike in Vancouver’s 3-0 home win against the Philadelphia Union.
