If it's Monday, it must be time to start having your say on who should win the next AT&T Goal of the Week. And this week brings the fastest ever goal scored in Timbers MLS history by Portland forward Gastón Fernández. When the Timbers beat D.C. United 3-2 this past Saturday, Fernández needed only :34 seconds to score following a sublime cross from teammate Diego Valeri.
Fernández is up against plenty of other quality strikes in Week 9, including bullets hit by New England rookie Patrick Mullins, Vancouver maestro Pedro Morales and Houston forward Giles Barnes as well as Colorado's Vicente Sánchez.
Cast your ballot for your favorite goal before voting ends! The winner is determined by the total number of votes cast online and will be announced on Friday.
Voting runs until 11:59 pm PT on Thursdays. For complete coverage of the AT&T MLS Goal of the Week — including an archive of all of this season's nominees and winners — click here.
