Overcame a ruptured Achilles in preseason to make his MLS debut for the Timbers seven months later against Sporting KC on Aug. 17, 2011. He had a standout rookie season with the Timbers in the USSF Division-2 Pro League in 2010, and was one of four players to be announced as the Timbers’ first MLS signings on Oct. 19, 2010.

2013: Traded to Toronto FC, along with Portland’s lowest first-round pick in the 2015 MLS SuperDraft and allocation, on Sept. 9, in exchange for forward Maximiliano Urruti and an international slot through the 2013 season ... Saw his first game action of the season, starting and playing 78 minutes for the Timbers Reserves on Aug. 31 against the Real Salt Lake Reserves ... Missed roughly six months after undergoing successful surgery to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament, medial collateral ligament (MCL) in addition to undergoing a successful lateral meniscectomy on Feb. 11 ... Sustained the injury in a preseason match against Seattle Sounders FC on Feb. 5.

2012: Set a number of MLS career highs, appearing in 12 matches (9 starts), playing 896 minutes and scoring five goals ... Finished the season as the club’s third-leading goal-scorer and tied for third overall in points (10) ... Scored his five goals on the season in a 10-game span ... Earned honorable mention on the MLSsoccer.com Team of the Week four times during the season in Weeks 25, 26, 30 and 33 ... Scored his first MLS game-winning goal Aug. 31 in a 1-0 win over Colorado at JELD-WEN Field ... Tallied game-tying goals in back-to-back home matches Sept. 29 vs. D.C. United and Oct. 27 vs. San Jose - both 1-1 draws ... Made his first MLS start and scored his first goal of the season Aug. 19 in a 3-2 loss at New York ... Finished the regular season having recorded at least one shot on goal in five consecutive matches - one shy of the club’s MLS record ... Was on loan with the L.A. Blues of USL PRO from May 8 to July 10 ... Recorded six goals and two assists in 10 games during his loan stint and was the Blues’ leading scorer on the season ... Selected to the USL PRO Team of the Week in Weeks 6 and 8 ... Tallied in four straight matches June 15-30 ... Named to the USL PRO Team of the Week in Week 11 after scoring game-winning goals in back-to-back games June 15 and June 17 both 1-0 wins over the Dayton Dutch Lions ... At season’s end was selected to the USL PRO All-League Second Team ... Led the Timbers Reserves in scoring with five goals in 373 minutes over five games played (four starts) ... Recorded a hat trick for the Timbers Reserves in a 4-2 win over the Chivas USA Reserves on July 29 at JELD-WEN Field ... Also scored in road wins over Seattle Sounders FC Reserves on April 10 and Vancouver Whitecaps FC Reserves on April 22 ... Additionally, saw time in both of the Timbers’ exhibition matches against Spanish side Valencia CF (May 23) and EPL club Aston Villa FC (July 24).

2011: Made his MLS Timbers debut July 7 in a friendly against Club América exactly five months after undergoing Achilles’ tendon surgery, after rupturing his Achilles tendon in the Timbers first preseason game Feb. 4 ... Scored his first career MLS goal in the 81st minute of a 3-1 loss at Sporting KC Aug. 17 ... Recorded four goals in five MLS Reserve League appearances, ranking second in scoring for the Timbers Reserves ... Helped the Reserve squad to a second-place finish in the MLS Reserve League’s West Division ... Made 11 appearances in MLS action.

2010: In his first professional season, started 18 of his 23 games for the USSF Division-2 Pro League Portland Timbers … Was the Timbers’ second-leading scorer with 10 goals, one assist and 21 points on the season … Ranked tied for fourth among USSF D-2 goal-scoring lead­ers … Recorded two, two-goal performances during the regular season, both against Crystal Palace Baltimore – at home on Aug. 29 and on the road on Sept. 25 … Scored nine goals over the final 12 games of the regular season … Added four goals during the Timbers’ run in the 2010 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, including a hat trick against the Kitsap Pumas in the second round June 22 … Also scored against Seattle Sounders FC in a third-round match at PGE Park on June 30 … Was named the Player of the Round for Round 2 of the U.S. Open Cup … Made his pro debut in 3-0 win over AC St. Louis on April 22 at PGE Park … Scored his first professional goal in an exhibition match against Costa Rica’s Puntarenas FC on May 1 … Finished his rookie season with 15 goals across all competitions … Prior to signing with the Timbers on April 7, was selected with the 12th overall pick in the 2010 MLS SuperDraft by the Columbus Crew.
