Timbers announce roster status ahead of 2025 season
Timbers pick up contract option on Hunter Sulte and decline 2025 contract options on Tega Ikoba, Marvin Loría and Mason Toye
ACQUIRED: On December 17, 2020 via full transfer from Superliga Argentina's Club Atlético Banfield. On November 16, 2022 Claudio Bravo signed a multi-year extension that will keep him at the club through 2026 with a club option in 2027.
2024: Contributed second assist of season against STL on Aug. 24... Scored second career Timbers goal at STL in Leagues Cup 2024 on Aug. 9... Recorded an assist at LA Galaxy on July 20... Earned his first start against LAFC on April 13... Made his season debut as a second half substitute, playing 45 minutes against SKC on April 7.
2023: Scored against LAFC on Sept. 9... Recorded an assist against RSL on Aug. 30... Recorded an assist against Columbus on July 15... Tallied two assists against Vancouver on May 13... CAREER: Began his career in the youth academy of Banfield, making his debut for the first team as a second-half substitute in a 4-0 win over Rosario Central on Sept. 24, 2017... The defender tallied four assists in 61 appearances (59 starts) across all competitions for Banfield (2017-21)... In his final appearance for Banfield, played 90 minutes in the Copa Diego Maradona Final on Jan. 17, 2021... During the 2019-20 campaign, Bravo logged one assist in 17 appearances (17 starts) during Liga Profesional de Fútbol play for Banfield, in addition to making two appearances in the Copa Argentina and one start in the 2020 Copa de la Superliga.
INTERNATIONAL: Has made eight appearances for Argentina’s U-23 Men’s National Team, helping them win the 2020 CONMEBOL Pre-Olympic Tournament.
