Clive Charles eligible for National Soccer Hall of Fame class of 2025
The National Soccer Hall of Fame has released its eligible candidates for the Class of 2025, and among the names are Timbers great and Ring of Honor member Clive Charles.
ACQUIRED: Rejoined the club after being acquired via Targeted Allocation Money (TAM) via transfer from Santos Laguna. The Timbers acquired the No. 1 position in the Allocation Ranking from the LA Galaxy in exchange for the No. 16 position in the Allocation Ranking, $75,000 in General Allocation Money (GAM) and $100,000 in 2019 TAM.
2020: Recorded 90 minutes of play in a 1-0 home win against Nashville SC on March 8 ... Played 90 minutes in a 3-1 loss to Minnesota United FC on March 1.

2012: Saw action in 14 regular-season games for Chivas USA ā¦ Assisted on the game-winning goal in the 82nd minute by Juan Pablo Angel, helping the club to a 2-1 win against Montreal ā¦ Notched the equalizer in the 69th minute of a 1-1 draw Oct. 7 against FC Dallas ā¦ Played the full 90 in eight of his nine league starts.

2008: Played in 11 league games (6 starts) for Chivas USA, recording an MLS-career high three goals ā¦ Tallied his first MLS goal in his season debut May 27 against D.C. United, scoring the third goal of a 3-0 win ā¦ Scored all three goals in consecutive appearances May 17, May 24 at Colorado and May 31 vs. Columbus ā¦ The goals against Colorado and Columbus were the first game-winning goals of his MLS career.

CAREER: Prior to joining Santos Laguna, VillafaƱa made 52 regular-season appearances for Portland over two seasons from 2014-2015, including a career-high 33 regular-season games played (33 starts) and six postseason appearances (all starts) as a key component in Portlandās 2015 championship-winning campaign ... Won SueƱo MLS on March 25, 2007, earning a spot on Chivas USAās U-19 squad and ultimately making his MLS senior team debut for Chivas on Sept. 9 ... Spent the following seven seasons playing for Chivas USA ...
