After a season-and-a-half with the Houston Dynamo, Palm­er joined the Timbers, along with Mike Chabala, midway through their inaugural season from Houston in exchange for midfielder Adam Moffat and allocation money on July 21. The eight-year professional was signed by Houston on March 19, 2010, after seven seasons with Harbour View FC of the Jamaican National Premier League.

2012: Started and played the full 90 at right back against Seattle Sounders FC on Oct. 7 ... Missed two games due to a right knee injury sustained Sept. 19 ... Started and played 83 minutes against San Jose on Sept. 19 ... Played 74 minutes as a starter against the San Jose Reserves on Aug. 26 ... Played 31 minutes at right back against New York on Aug. 19, subbing on for an injured Kosuke Kimura ... Was his first league appearance since July 14 vs. LA Galaxy ... 2010: Stepped into the Dynamo lineup early in the season and appeared in 26 games, including 24 starts ... Totaled four goals in three different competitions ... Made first Dynamo start and scored a long-range goal that was voted MLS Goal of the Week in a 3-0 win vs. Chivas USA on April 17 ... 2008-09: Led Harbour View to second-place regular-season finish in the Jamaican first division, but Harbour View dropped to fourth after additional championship-round games ... Played all 90 minutes in 3-0 loss to Pumas (Mexico) in a CONCACAF Champions League qualifier Sept. 4, after first leg was cancelled due to Hurricane Ike in the Gulf of Mexico.

2007-08: Helped Harbour View to Caribbean Football Union championship, after memorable 10-9 shootout win over San Juan Jabloteh (Trinidad & Tobago) in the semifinals and 2-1 regulation win over Joe Public (Trinidad & Tobago) in the final ... Scored tying goal of a 1-1 draw against D.C. United on March 12 in first leg of the CONCACAF Champi­ons League quarterfinal ... Scored two goals in league play.

2006-07: Captained Harbour View to 2007 National Premier League championship ... Scored eight of team’s league-high 67 goals in regular season.

2005-06: Took over as club captain in Aug. 2005 shortly before turning 21 years old ... Scored four goals early in the season and earned NPL Player of the Week honors, finishing with six for the year.

2004-05: Scored six goals in league play for Harbour View ... Played 90 minutes in both legs of Harbour View’s 4-2 aggregate loss to D.C. United in the CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinals.

2003-04: Was called into the Harbour View senior squad for the first time shortly before turning 19 years old ...
