45 With his goal against Crew SC, forward Fanendo Adi tied NASL great John Bain for the most goals scored in a Timbers uniform across all eras. Bain scored 45 goals across 148 games for Portland from 1978-82. Adi accomplished the feat in 94 career Timbers appearances.
4Dairon Asprilla’s goal in the fourth minute—his first of the 2017 season—tied a team record as the earliest goal road scored for a Timbers regular-season MLS match. Diego Valeri also scored in the fourth minute against FC Dallas in 2016.
2Sebastián Blanco’s assist on Asprilla’s goal was his second of the regular season, which ties him with Valeri for the team lead. Through four games to start the season, eight different Timbers players have contributed assists in 2017.
