Postgame Quote Sheet
T2 head coach Cameron Knowles
General thoughts on the match…
"It was a really tough result. We put a lot of work into this game and we deserved more out of it, but credit to them. They punished us in a moment.”
On the team trying to get an equalizer late in the match…
“I think the guys left everything on the field. We created chances right up until the final whistle. The guys we brought into the game I thought did very well, but we just couldn’t find that goal.”
On next week’s home match against Fresno FC…
“Home points are valuable and you’ve seen it tonight. If you give up points to the team, they’ll leapfrog you in the table. So we have to really apply ourselves for the second half of the season and it starts with the game next week.”
