Adidas unveiled a new national TV spot this week highlighting much of the magic of the upcoming MLS Cup battle this Saturday (5pm PT, FOX) with footage of past Cup finals--including the Timbers' own in 2015.
But it also juxtaposes the images of teams searching for soccer glory with a collection of players who are playing on their own terms. For the eagle-eyed, that group includes Timbers defender Marco Farfan and T2 midfielder Dylan Damraoui. At the :20 mark, you can't miss Farfan (in the middle) and Damraoui (on the right with his trademark hair) standing and looking at camera. Farfan gets the hero shot at the end too holding up a new pair of adidas.
