PORTLAND, Ore. – T2 today announced that their home match against Tulsa Roughnecks FC at Providence Park on Sunday, Sept. 3, has been moved to 12 noon (Pacific) due to excessive heat forecast for the Portland, Ore., area. Sunday’s match against Roughnecks FC will be available via a live, high-definition web stream at www.timbers2.com.
Originally scheduled for 2 p.m. (Pacific), the new start time will allow for lower on-field and in-stadium temperatures earlier in the day.
Please note the following to help stay cool at Sunday's match:
- Sealed water bottles and sports drinks will be allowed into the stadium
- A designated cooling station, located at the Guest Service Center (near Section 105), is provided and staffed by AMR
- Increased water stations throughout the concourse
