PORTLAND, Ore. – T2 will continue their three-match homestand when they play host to expansion side Rio Grande Valley FC on Friday, April 8, at Merlo Field; kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. (Pacific).

The match on Friday marks the first of two regular-season meetings scheduled for T2 and Rio Grande in 2016, as both teams are set to meet again on Sept. 10 at RGV FC Toros Stadium.
T2 (0-2-0, 0pts) enter Friday’s contest looking to bounce back after a 3-1 defeat to Whitecaps FC 2 at Merlo Field on April 2. During the match, midfielder Dylan Damraoui recorded his first career goal for T2, finding the back of the net from the left side of the 18-yard box to notch the team’s lone goal of the game in the 79th minute.
Rio Grande Valley FC (0-1-0, 0pts), the affiliate club of the Houston Dynamo, venture into Friday’s contest with only one game played in their inaugural USL campaign. In the team’s opening match on March 28, Rio Grande sustained a 2-0 defeat to Tulsa Roughnecks FC.
