T2 defender Marco Farfan has been named to the USL Team of the Week for Week Six after helping Portland secure a point on the road in a 1-1 draw against Arizona United SC on Saturday.
Farfan, a 17-year-old product of the Timbers Academy, has started and played in T2’s first seven games of the 2016 USL campaign, and helped Portland record two shutout victories in the month of April. The left back has logged 599 minutes, the second-most of any T2 player this season.
Next up, T2 will return home to play their first match of the season at Providence Park, facing Real Monarchs SLC on Saturday, May 7; kickoff is set for 5 p.m. (Pacific) in a game originally slated to kick off at 2 p.m.
