Joshua Penn records brace in Portland’s third consecutive win
PORTLAND, Ore. – A pair of goals scored by Joshua Penn in each half helped Timbers2 to a 2-0 shutout win against North Texas SC on Saturday evening at Providence Park. Notably, it was the third consecutive victory for Timbers2 and fifth of the season.

POR – Josh Penn, 18th minute: Julian Bravo dribbled down the left side of the wing and crossed the ball into the box where Blake Pope took a shot, forcing a save on the North Texas goalkeeper. In the six-yard box, Penn beat two defenders to the ball and finished the play, scoring off the rebound.
POR – Josh Penn, 59th minute: Off a free-kick, Penn curled a left-footed shot into the right side of the goal, hitting the goal post and finding the back of the net.
