Griffiths will miss the remainder of the 2024 MLS NEXT Pro season, and is set to return in approximately 10 months
PORTLAND, Ore. – The Portland Timbers announced today that forward Reo Griffiths underwent a successful Achilles reconstruction surgery on his right leg. The procedure was performed by Dr. Stephen Schroeder, DPM in Portland.
Griffiths, who was acquired by T2 on April 9, will miss the remainder of the 2024 MLS NEXT Pro season, and is set to return in approximately 10 months. He will conduct his rehabilitation with the Timbers sports medicine staff at Providence Park and at the Providence Sports Care Center.
