Forward Foster Langsdorf was named to the USL Championship Team of the Week after scoring two goals across two games for T2 in Week 23 action.
Langsdorf, on loan from the Portland Timbers, scored the game-tying goal in the 69th minute in T2’s 2-2 draw against Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC at Weidner Field on Wednesday, Aug. 7. Four days later, Langsdorf’s volleyed finish into the top right corner of the net from inside the box helped Portland to a 3-2 win over New Mexico United at Providence Park on Sunday, Aug. 11.
It marks the second time this season that Langsdorf, who has made 19 appearances (18 starts) and tallied six goals and three assists for T2 in 2019, has been named to the USL Championship Team of the Week as he received the honor back in Week 7.
Next up, T2 will play host to OKC Energy FC at Providence Park on Friday, Aug. 16. Beginning at 7:30 p.m. (Pacific), the match against OKC Energy FC will be streamed live on ESPN+.
