T2 enter Saturday’s road matchup at Reno 1868 FC following a 4-1 loss to Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC at Merlo Field on June 17. Portland ranks sixth in the USL in goals scored (26), and ranks tied for second in the league in shutouts (8).
Road form
In nine road matches this season, T2 hold a 4-3-2 record. Six of T2’s eight shutouts in 2018 have occurred on the road, as T2 posted four-consecutive road shutouts from April 4 to May 12, which is a new team record. Forward Augustine Williams, who ranks second on the team with four goals scored, has tallied three of his goals in road matches.

Scouting Reno 1868 FC
Reno 1868 FC, the USL affiliate of the San Jose Earthquakes, enter Saturday’s match following a 2-0 win over San Antonio FC at Toyota Field on June 23, which extended a 12-game unbeaten run dating back to April 21. Reno is 2-3-2 in seven home matches at Greater Nevada Field. Reno ranks tied for 10th in the USL in goals scored (22), as nine different players have scored for the club this season. Midfielder Seth Casiple played for T2 from 2015-16, playing in 31 games (16 starts) and tallying a goal and an assist. Defender Brent Richards played for T2 from 2015-16, playing in 34 games (21 starts) and tallying two goals and two assists.
