Heading into Week 24 of the 2019 USL Championship season, T2 play host to OKC Energy FC at Providence Park on Friday, Aug. 16. Beginning at 7:30 p.m. (Pacific), Friday's match will feature a live stream on ESPN+.

T2 (8-7-8, 32pts) sit in seventh place in the Western Conference standings, and rank tied for fourth in the league in goals scored (43). Portland is coming off a 3-2 home win against New Mexico United at Providence Park on Aug. 11, which snapped a seven-match winless streak. Foster Langsdorf, Todd Wharton and Ryan Sierakowski each scored in the win against New Mexico. Portland Timbers Academy defender Caleb Kiner made his first career start for T2, logging 90 minutes of play and adding his first assist as a professional. Kiner (16 years, 10 months, 22 days) is the youngest player ever to start in a match for T2 and record an assist. Friday’s match marks the ninth meeting all-time between T2 and OKC Energy FC, as the series is currently tied 4-4-0 with a Portland 3-2 away at Taft Stadium on April 6, 2019. Zach Kobayashi and Brayan Hurtado each tallied a goal to even the game, while Ryan Sierakowski scored the game winning goal – his first as a professional – in stoppage time.
