OKC Energy FC enter Wednesday’s match following a 2-1 loss to Seattle Sounders FC 2 at Cheney Stadium on June 10, which extended a three-match winless streak. Oklahoma City sits in 16th place in the Western Conference standings and are winless (0-4-1) in five matches on the road in 2018. Energy FC have scored the fewest goals in the USL this season (7), while allowing the fifth-most goals (22) in 2018. First-year head coach Steve Cooke joined the club in the offseason after serving as the Colorado Rapids’ interim manager to end the 2017 MLS season.
