Portland enters Sunday's contest against Phoenix following a 2-2 draw against Orange County SC at Championship Soccer Stadium on Aug. 1, which extended a two-match unbeaten run. Midfielders Jack Barmby and Marvin Loría found the back of the net for T2, while goalkeeper Kendall McIntosh registered a season-high eight saves.

SportsCenter featured midfielder Eryk Williamson’s goal against LA Galaxy II on July 28 was the No. 9 play in the SportsCenter Top 10. Williamson latched onto forward Jeremy Ebobisse’s back-heeled pass and curled a right-footed finish into the back of the net (Watch Goal). Loría’s goal against Orange County SC on Aug. 1 was the No. 5 play after he beat three defenders from a run from midfield and chipped the goalkeeper in the 13th minute (Watch Goal).
USL Team of the Week
T2 forward Foster Langsdorf was named to the USL Team of the Week for Week 20 after recording a second-half brace in T2’s 4-3 win over LA Galaxy II at the StubHub Track & Field Stadium on July 28. Additionally, Ebobisse made the Team of the Week bench after registering a goal and an assist. With his two-goal performance, Langsdorf ranks tied for fourth in the USL with 10 goals in 2018. Langsdorf has scored five of his 10 goals this season against LA Galaxy II, as he scored a hat-trick in a 7-3 win over LA on May 18. Ebobisse has tallied three goals and one assist in 10 starts this season for T2.
