PORTLAND, Ore. – Playing their second to last home game of the season following three-straight road matches, T2 will play host to face Oklahoma City Energy FC at Merlo Field on Sunday, Sept. 4; kickoff is set for 7 p.m. (Pacific). The match on Sunday marks the first and only meeting between T2 and OKC Energy FC this season.
T2 (7-14-4, 25pts) enter Sunday’s match looking to bounce back from a 2-1 loss on the road to Cascadia-rival Seattle Sounders FC 2 at Starfire Stadium on Aug. 29. During the 2016 USL campaign, 11 different players have scored for T2, including Victor Arboleda, Nick Besler, Villyan Bijev, Blake Bodily, Neco Brett, Kharlton Belmar, Rennico Clarke, Dylan Damraoui, Andre Lewis, Ben Polk and Steven Taylor. Through 25 games played, Brett ranks first on the team in goals scored (5), while Bjiev is tied for second in the USL in assists and leads the team with seven on the season.
Oklahoma City Energy FC (10-4-11, 41pts) heads into Sunday’s match following a 1-1 draw on the road against Saint Louis FC on Aug. 31 at World Wide Technology Soccer Park. Sitting in fourth place in the Western Conference, Energy FC has a 5-2-6 record on the road. Forward Wojciech Wojcik, who last scored in a 1-0 win over the Tulsa Roughnecks on Aug. 27, leads the team in goals scored (4), while midfielder Sebastian Dalgaard and forward Danni Konig are tied for the team lead in assists (4).

Following Sunday’s match, T2 will travel to play Rio Grande Valley FC Toros at Toro Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 10; kickoff is set for 5:30 p.m. (Pacific).
