PORTLAND, Ore. – Playing their final game of a two-match homestand, T2 play host to Cascadia-rival Seattle Sounders FC 2 at Providence Park on Tuesday, June 14; kickoff is set for 4:30 p.m. (Pacific). T2 (5-6-2, 17pts) enter this week’s contest looking to build off their 1-1 draw against San Antonio FC on June 11 at Merlo Field on the campus of the University of Portland. With the draw, T2 remained undefeated in their last three games, and improved to 4-3-1 at home this season. Outshooting San Antonio 5-4 in the first half, T2 opened the scoring in the 16th minute when midfielder Jack Barmby’s in-swinging corner kick was headed in for an own goal at the near post.
After defeating Whitecaps FC 2 3-2 on June 9, Sounders FC 2 (2-7-4, 10pts) venture into Tuesday’s match with only one win in its last eight games. Forward’s Andy Craven and Victor Mansaray lead the team in points with three goals on the season.
