PORTLAND, Ore. – After earning their first road victory of the season over Tulsa in their last game, T2 will close out their three-match road trip against Arizona United SC on Saturday, April 30, at Peoria Sports Complex; kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. (Pacific).
The match on Saturday marks the first of three games scheduled between T2 and Arizona in 2016, as both teams are set to meet again Sept. 13 at Peoria Sports Complex and Sept. 24 at Merlo Field. Last season, T2 earned a pair of victories over United SC in their last two meetings, scoring two first-half goals in a 2-0 victory at Scottsdale Stadium on April 25 and capping the season series with a 3-1 win at Merlo Field on July 2.
T2 (2-4-0, 6pts) enter this week’s road contest looking to build off Saturday’s 2-0 win over Tulsa Roughnecks FC. During the match, forward Kharlton Belmar, who was named to the USL Team of the Week for Week 5, and midfielder Andre Lewis both scored during a four-minute span as T2 posted their second clean sheet win of the campaign. With the victory, T2 improved to 3-0-0 against Tulsa in their two USL seasons.
Returning to USL action after a week off, Arizona United SC (2-3-0, 6pts), who played their first five regular-season games on the road, venture into Saturday’s match following a 1-0 win over Real Monarchs SLC on April 15. United SC forward Chris Cortez, who scored the game-winning goal against Seattle Sounders FC 2 on March 30, leads the team in points with a goal and an assist on the season.

Next week, T2 will return home to play their first match of the season at Providence Park, facing Real Monarchs SLC on Saturday, May 7; kickoff is set for 5 p.m. (Pacific) in a game originally slated to kick off at 2 p.m.
