Postgame Quote Sheet
T2 head coach Cameron Knowles
General thoughts on the match after the win on the road…
“It was a very good win for the team. After the slow start, for the team to have the ability and the mental fortitude to get themselves back in the game on a couple of occasions is very, very encouraging. Aside from slow start, I thought it was a very good performance. There was a lot of hard work from a lot of guys, especially at the end to weather the storm a little bit.
On what changes were made that led to the team’s second-half performance…
“We knew we were going to make some changes. Eryk [Williamson] had to come out of the game. He had been performing well. Foster [Langsdorf] came in and we talked about how we were going to put them under a little bit more pressure and ways in which we could move the ball a little bit to create some different opportunities. [Andrew] Gregor spoke to them about switching the play and I think we executed some of those things in order to create some good chances.”
On the play of the group today…
“You can look at a number of guys that played well, and I think that’s reflected in the result. When you’ve got a lot of guys playing well then more often than not you’ll get a positive result. I thought the performances were very good."
