Postgame Quote Sheet
T2 head coach Cameron Knowles
On the 4-0 shutout victory…
“It’s a really good win and performance from the team. It was a game that was really important to end this home stand just before we go out and play a few games on the road. It was a really important three points.”
On the cohesion of the team from an offensive and defensive perspective…
“I think the guys came in with the right attitude for this game. In games like this, it’s possible to underestimate the opponent based on their position in the table and our guys played to our own level. Guys individually and collectively raised their standards both in the attack and defending. To preserve a clean sheet and to generate so many good scoring opportunities is really well done and a credit to the players.”
On four of the final five regular-season matches being played on the road…
“I think we’ve shown that we are a good team on the road. We’ve got a lot of wins on the road and collected a lot of points that way. For us now, we need to keep taking as many points as we can and keep moving up the table.”
