The Portland Timbers and ticketing industry leader SeatGeek announced today a landmark new partnership. As part of the new agreement, SeatGeek will serve as the club’s Official Fan Ticket Marketplace starting with the 2017 season and will become the Official Ticketing Provider in 2019.
In addition to being the club’s official secondary market partner and ticket exchange site, for both the Timbers and Thorns, the SeatGeek site/app provides an ideal mobile ticket management option for supporters.
Some of the exciting benefits and functions provided through SeatGeek are:
- Mobile ticketing and entry into Providence Park
- Peer to peer transfers at no charge
- Peer to peer sales with no fees
- iMessage ticket transfers and sales for iOS users
- Easy selling/managing of your tickets from one central location

In order to use SeatGeek as an alternative ticket management site, you will need to create a SeatGeek account and then load your Timbers tickets as pdfs onto their site or app.
Timbers and Thorns Annual Members who would like to request all of their tickets as pdfs for this purpose can do so by requesting this through members@timbers.com. Annual Members can also to do this through the current online Account Manager and the transfer/print process as they have in the past.
