Wednesday was jam-packed with activities for Stand Together Week 2015. The Children’s Book Bank hosted a cleanup and refurbishing party with Rodney Wallace to get kids books back into mint condition.
Sinead Farrelly was on hand during the Willamette River Cleanup at Kelly Point Park to remove invasive plant species.
At the Community Garden Cleanup, George Fochive helped remove invasive blackberries and refresh foot paths with new wood chips just in time for spring.
At the Clean Bikes For Kids! Initiative, it was Andrew Weber who helped the Community Cycling Center beautify used and donated kids bikes in preparation for the 20th annual Holiday Bike Drive event.
Then it was Dairon Asprilla who went to help Community Healing Initiative and Studio Latino to prepare for their upcoming summer camp that affects gang-impacted youth in Rockwood.
Finally, Norberto Paparatto helped prepare medical supplies and equipment for shipment to more than 100 countries for Medical Teams International.
