Timbers ambassador Mick Hoban and Timber Joey to participate in ‘Circle on the Court’ Sunday

Portland Timbers alumni ambassador Mick Hoban and mascot Timber Joey will help kick off the Chris Dudley Foundation’s second-annual Pacific Northwest Diabetes Week (PNDW) at “Circle on the Court” on Sunday, Nov. 13, at the Rose Garden in downtown Portland. Hoban will conduct a free youth soccer clinic as part of the festivities.


The opening event for PNDW, “Circle on the Court” is a free event open to the public, featuring health screenings, diabetes education and take-home resources. The event will include Hoban’s youth soccer clinic as well as a basketball clinic coached Portland Trail Blazers ambassadors.

PNDW also includes a number of free educational workshops that will be offered Nov. 15-17, offering tips and resources on living and eating well with diabetes. Click here for more information on PNDW.

WHEN: Sunday, Nov. 13. The soccer clinic with Mick Hoban will run from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., while Timber Joey will be on site from 1:30-3 p.m.
