The Portland Timbers are partnering with the Mittleman Jewish Community Center (MJCC) to offer a one-day youth winter soccer camp on Feb. 16 at the MJCC indoor soccer facility in
Portland
. Registrations are now being accepted for the clinic.
The Timbers’ Winter Camp at MJCC on Feb. 16 is a make-up clinic for the original two-day camp scheduled in December that was cancelled due to weather.
Presented by Nike, the Timbers’ winter soccer camp will be led by professional players and coaches and feature professional instruction designed to improve skills and generate a better understanding of the game in a fun and educational environment.
The camp is open to children 6-14, and will be divided into age groups. The morning session from 9 a.m. to 12 noon is for children 6-9 years old, while children ages 10-14 will participate the afternoon session from 1-4 p.m. The Timbers Winter Camp at MJCC costs $30 for members and $35 for non-members.
