2017: Played 19 minutes as a second-half sub for the Timbers in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup match against Seattle Sounders FC on June 13 ... Made his 12th start of the season, playing 83 minutes at Real Monarchs on June 10 ... Started and recorded his third goal of the year against Tulsa Roughnecks FC on May 27 ...  Recorded a goal against Sacramento Republic FC on April 22 ... Tallied a goal against Sounders FC 2 on April 2 ... Started and played 90 minutes in his season debut against Real Monarchs SLC on March 25. 

2016: Played in 29 games (23 starts) in 2016 for T2, where he tallied eight goals and led the USL with 10 assists on the way to earning USL All-League First-Team honors ... Started and recorded an assist against Real Monarchs on Aug. 17 ... Started and recorded an assist against Orange County on Aug. 14 ... Named to the USL Team of the Week for Week 20 after registering two goals  and an assist against LA Galaxy II on Aug. 6, and recording an assist against Switchbacks FC on Aug. 3 ... Has started in seven consecutive appearances (July 16 - Aug. 20) ... Scored his first career goal against Seattle Sounders FC 2 on May 26 ... Recorded two assists in 29 minutes against Real Monarchs SLC on May 7 ... Made his first career start for T2 and his USL debut against Swope Park Rangers on March 26.

CAREER: Joined T2 after playing for Bulgarian sides Cherno More and Slavia Sofia. With Cherno More during the 2015-16 season, Bijev appeared in 15 matches, tallying four goals in the top division in Bulgaria. Born in Sofia, Bulgaria, Bijev moved to Fresno, Calif., as a child and played for Cal Odyssey at the U-17/18 level as part of the U.S. Soccer Development Academy. In addition, Bijev played on trial with Liverpool U18s and also had a loan stint with Fortuna Düsseldorf in Germany during the 2011-12 season. As a youth international, Bijev has made appearances with the U.S. U-18 and U-20 national teams as well as at the U-21 level for Bulgaria.
